This policy explains what personal data Merus Games ("we") handles through this website, merusgames.com, and when you write to us.
The short version
- This website has no accounts, no forms, no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies.
- Our hosting provider sees technical data, like your IP address, so it can deliver the site and keep it safe.
- If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time.
1. Who we are
Merus Games is a mobile game studio from Türkiye and is responsible for the data described here. Contact: support@merusgames.com.
2. What we collect
- Technical data, handled by our host. Cloudflare delivers this website. To do that and to protect it from attacks, it processes your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for and the time. We don't use this to identify you. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie when it has to tell people from bots.
- One note in your browser. The site keeps a single value, "merus-intro", in your browser's local storage so the opening animation is shorter on your next visit. It never leaves your device, says nothing about you, and you can clear it in your browser settings.
- Your emails. When you write to support@merusgames.com, we receive your email address, your name if your email shows it, and what you write.
Everything on these pages, including fonts and images, comes from our own site. We don't load anything from other companies' servers.
3. Why we use it

We don't sell your data and we don't share it for advertising.
4. Who we share it with
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting, security, and forwarding the emails sent to our address.
- Google LLC: our email inbox.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
5. International transfers
These providers' servers are outside Türkiye, mostly in the European Union and the United States, so your data is transferred abroad. The transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses and the safeguards required by Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
6. How long we keep it
- Technical data: according to Cloudflare's own retention rules.
- Your emails: up to 2 years after the conversation ends, then we delete them.
7. Our games
When we release a game, it will come with its own privacy notice, linked on its store page and inside the game, explaining what that game uses and why. You can ask us to delete your game data at any time: see Delete your data.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under KVKK in Türkiye or the GDPR in the EU and UK), you can ask to know whether we process your data, get a copy of it, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you gave. Write to support@merusgames.com. We reply within 30 days, free of charge. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority in Türkiye (KVKK) or to the data protection authority where you live.
9. Children
This website isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
